Maryland Regional Cancer Care (MRCC) is a community-based comprehensive cancer program. We are founded on partnerships between physicians, hospitals, academia and industry. We exist to provide the highest quality cancer care for all patients in our community.

MRCC is the largest radiation therapy provider in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Our board certified radiation oncologists treat almost 2,000 people a year at our three electronically linked sites. We were formed as a unique partnership between two of Maryland's strongest health systems; Adventist HealthCare and Holy Cross Hospital.

Stereotactic Radiosurgery Now Available at MRCC

If you're one of the millions of Americans who has been diagnosed with a cancer that's difficult to treat, a new wave in cancer therapy - Novalis® "Shaped Beam Surgery" offers new hope. Radiosurgery, or shaped beam surgery, is a treatment delivered with surgical precision. It is a non-invasive, thus bloodless procedure. This procedure is now available at the Silver Spring location of Maryland Regional Cancer Care. This innovative new treatment is a cooperative effort with both Holy Cross Hospital and Adventist HeathCare.

Answers to most patient questions about stereotactic radiosurgery can be found at: Patient Information.
